New York Knicks rookie Kevin Knox has signed a multiyear endorsement deal with footwear and apparel brand Puma, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic:

Knox was drafted ninth-overall by the Knicks after his freshman season at Kentucky, during which he averaged 15.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 34.1 percent from 3-point range.
At 6 feet 9 inches with a near-7-foot wingspan, Knox is perfectly sized to play on the wing in the NBA. Plus, he’s an exciting athlete with a smooth jumper. If that clean jump-shot form can translate to consistent accuracy from deep, Knox has a chance to be a special player.
Despite his poor efficiency (35 percent from the field), Knox impressed in Summer League, averaging 21.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and a steal per game over four contests.
Knox is the latest slab of snow in an avalanche of players Puma has signed this offseason, including four other lottery picks from the 2018 NBA Draft: Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, Zhaire Smith and Michael Porter Jr.
Puma also signed two non-rookie players this summer: Terry Rozier and Rudy Gay.
