Gervonta “Tank” Davis is reportedly set to fight in the United Kingdom during the summer. Neither a specific date nor an opponent has been specified by Davis, Prime Video, or Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).
Davis fought twice in 2023. On January 7, 2023, Davis earned a TKO victory against Hector Luis Garcia at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Three months later, he secured a KO victory against Ryan Garcia at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After fighting twice in 2023, Davis received a 90-day house arrest sentence for a hit-and-run incident that injured four people. Approximately one month after the sentence, he was taken into police custody for reportedly violating the terms of his house arrest and ordered to serve the remainder of his sentence in jail.
Once he completed his sentence, Davis engaged in social media feuds with several potential opponents, including Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney. However, Davis and company were not able to come to an agreement to fight either Stevenson or Haney.
Most recently, Davis’s trainer, Calvin Ford, was arrested on a warrant stemming from assault charges in Las Vegas, Nevada. At this time, it is unclear how Ford’s latest legal troubles may impact his ability to work with Davis or travel with him to a potential fight in the United Kingdom.
