Wes Craven has launched his first comic with co-creator Steve Niles titled Coming of Rage.
Craven is also working on a television series based on the comic.
“About a year ago, I had the beginning of an unwritten joke come into my head: A Vampire, a Werewolf and a Zombie walk into a bar,” said Craven.
“Just that. What was the punchline? Who cares – I just liked the sound of it.
“My imagination went crazy thinking about what could happen when three such impossibly different characters were thrown together.”
The first three issues of the five-part series have been released on Amazon by publisher Liquid Comics.
The project was first announced in 2012.
Craven is working with producer Arnold Rifkin’s Cheyenne Enterprises (Live Free or Die Hard) and Liquid Comics on developing the television series adaptation of Coming of Rage.
