Looking to firmly entrench themselves in the wide world of basketball apparel and footwear, Puma is undoubtedly a brand on the rise.
In order to keep experience in the mix along with the youth they have recently signed, Puma first named Jay-Z as the head of their basketball department and have now inked New York Knicks legend Walt Frazier to a lifetime deal according to NY Post’s Marc Berman:

With Walt Frazier now under contract with Puma for life, he will provide a nice complement to their other recent signees. Puma has remained very active regarding this upcoming 2018 NBA Draft class, signing three of the top prospects in Texas Tech’s Zhaire Smith, Duke’s Marvin Bagley III, and Arizona’s Deandre Ayton.
Frazier has been linked to Puma since his playing days dating all the way back to the 1970’s. Now known best as the primary voice during Knicks games on MSG Network, Frazier was a legend with his play on the court and was a pioneer off of it.
Frazier was one of the first athletes to accustom Puma to the basketball world when it was already a staple in track and soccer. Now years later, it’s good to see the two sides reunite as they continue their mission to transform Puma into a household NBA name.
