You would think there is an astronomical explanation as to why Allen Iverson would opt to not wear the Reebok Question Mid ‘Unworn’ aka ‘All-Stars’ for the 2000 NBA All-Star Game. There really isn’t and that is probably the most surprising thing about the history of this specific colorway which is Yellow/Navy. This colorway is very much so associated with the Golden State Warriors team colors and this is due to the 2000 NBA All-Star game being hosted by Oakland, California at the Oakland Arena.
Now for Iverson, his reasoning for why he decided to not wear the Reebok Question ‘All-Star’ came down to one reason and that was because the colorway didn’t match his uniform. Now I laughed when I heard this in the video provided below because that exactly is such an “Iverson thing” to say and do and this is one of the reasons he will forever be one of my favorite players ever. A.I. was never bashful to express how he feel and in the latest video for Finish Line’s “20 Years. 20 Questions” he explained as cool calm and collected as can be why he didn’t wear the colorway.
