A secret service witness has provided fresh information regarding the events of Sunday morning during which R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested by police in D.C. after being accused of assaulting a male.
TMZ reports that a secret service agent, who was in uniform and on duty on the streets of D.C. at the time of the alleged assault has informed police that he heard the victim tell cops that he was not struck by Brown – a claim that may prove pivotal in ensuring Brown’s innocence and freedom.
Reports suggest that this new bout of fresh information could ultimately smash the credibility of the victim’s original version of events and result in prosecutors dropping the case altogether.
Since being released from a holding cell, Brown has checked into a treatment facility to work on anger management issues. He is expected to remain there until the end of 2013.
