Coming out of Cleveland, Ohio, NoonieVsEverybody made his grand introduction on last year’s LVRN Cypher. With that said, he’s been doing this long before last year’s cypher. From rapping over G Herbo’s “Sessions” to appearing on Your Favorite People’s “Sweet 16” series, NoonieVsEverybody has been working toward this moment for some time now. More importantly, he comes with a story and a perspective that is hard to find in today’s landscape.
NoonieVsEverybody’s newest video pays homage to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Powered by piano heavy production, “Loyalty” touches on the rising artist’s relationship with his uncle, taking care of his loved ones, living in a shelter and his unshakeable desire to be the person in his family that changes everything for those he cares most about.
“I’ve lost some people that I love, so I keep the lord with me. And I get to pick and choose the people that will grow with me. Because you can’t go nowhere without no loyalty,” he raps.
