From Mariah Carey to Usher, Gucci Mane has collaborated with some of the biggest names in R&B. Now, a new generation of singers and songwriters is finding inspiration from some of his most memorable tracks.
TL;DR
- Seattle’s Jaymin releases his new single, “Rollin.”
- His sophomore EP under Warner Records is called Static; it drops on September 18.
On Friday, August 21, 2026, Washington native Jaymin released his new single, “Rollin.” The intimate, emotionally honest record finds the Seattle native asking his partner if she’s with him for the long haul as he attempts to ascend to the highest heights in R&B and beyond.
‘Eyes wide open like I’m star-struck. My veins are drumming like I’m on one. Say, are you in it for the long run?” he asks before making way for the refrain, which is largely inspired by Gucci Mane’s “Pillz.”
“Is you rollin? Is you rolling?” the Seattle singer asks in the background.
In many ways, this can be heard as a song about romantic relationships, but it can also be read as an open letter to his fans. As she enters the next chapter of his young career, he is also asking his fans whether they’re riding with him during his next run, which begins with this single. A year after joining Warner Records and releasing “Something Real,” he’s gearing up to release his next EP, Static, on September 18.
