The Alabama Crimson Tide has signed Head Coach Nick Saban to an eight-year raise and extension worth a reported $93.6 million. This deal once again makes him the highest-paid college football coach and keeps him with the program through the year 2030. When the deal is averaged out he will make $11.2 million a year over the course of ten years. Saban is largely considered the best college football head coach currently and perhaps even all time. This deal came shortly after the Georgia Bulldogs signed Head Coach Kirby Smart to a new deal.
New deal for @AlabamaFTBL coach Nick Saban is worth $11.7 million annually and makes him college football’s highest paid coach. Deal extends through February 2030. Kirby Smart’s new deal is worth $11.25 million annually.

As the Head Coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Nick Saban led the team to an overall record of 178-25 and an SEC record of 103-16. His entire list of accomplishments with just the Alabama Crimson Tide is almost too high to count. The biggest achievement of the program under Saban is the six NCAA National Championships his teams have won. There are next to no programs in any sport that have experienced the same levels of success as Alabama has under Saban.
It’s good to be king: Alabama’s Nick Saban receives new 8-year contract worth nearly $94 million & remains highest paid college football coach. He will make $10.7 million this season w/annual increases to $12.7 million in 2029 when Saban will be 78

There has been speculation for a few years now about when Nick Saban would retire from coaching college football. This deal could be the last time he is extended in his career and even that assumes he decides to coach out the entire contract. Before he considers retirement, he has a few more games to win and maybe even more National Championships to compete for in the coming seasons.
