After his much maligned comments on immigrants, the network decided to cut ties to with the outspoken mogul. Let’s be real, you can’t speak badly about Mexicans and run an international beauty pageant thinking backlash wouldn’t come. However, this is Donald Trump, he thinks he’s invincible. Consequently, the network, and Univision, that harbored his television ventures, NBC, has dropped him after such remarks.
“Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump,” NBC said in a statement. “At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values.”
