New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell has been placed on injured reserve. The Jets have confirmed that Bell suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, and will miss a minimum of three weeks while recovering. To help offset Bell’s absence, the Jets have signed former Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage.
We've signed RB Kalen Ballage to the active roster.
Additionally, we've placed RB Le'Veon Bell, WR Denzel Mims and LB Blake Cashman on IR.

Since being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2013 NFL Draft, Bell has been named to the Pro Bowl three times but has been stifled by injuries in recent seasons.
Bell was involved in a notable hold-out over a contract with the Steelers in 2018 that resulted in him leaving to join the Jets in the following free agency period.
Last season, Bell only managed to post 789 rushing yards and four total touchdowns in 15 appearances, both of which were his lowest totals since the 2015 season during which he only appeared in six games for the Steelers.
