After taking the year off last season due to contract disputes with the Steelers, Bell is going to have fresh legs heading into the 2019 season. The last time Bell was on the field, he was third in the NFL with 1,291 rushing yards. In addition to being the third leading rusher in the league, Bell lead all running backs with 85 receptions for 655 yards and scored 11 touchdowns.
Bell, who played his college ball at Michigan State, showed his excitement to be a part of his new team on Twitter, shortly after the news of his signing.

Bell has proven that when he is on the field, he is one of the most dominant players in the NFL. According to Pro Football Focus, Bell was the most effective running back during the 2016 season. With the Giants trading away Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland earlier today, football in New York will be headlined by the talent in the backfields between Saquon Barkley and LeVeon Bell for years to come.
