Note: This report contains spoilers regarding FOX’s The Masked Singer.
Actor Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke may no longer be working with FOX to host their popular game show, The Masked Singer. Deadline reports that Jeong and Thicke walked off of the show’s set after learning that Donald Trump confidante Rudy Giuliani was a contestant. Meanwhile, Jeong and Thicke’s fellow judges, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger, reportedly remained on stage and joked with Trump’s private attorney.
At this time, FOX has not commented on the matter and it’s unclear if Thicke and Jeong will return to work on the show. Right now, Deadline is reporting that the episode is slated to debut next month, but the report doesn’t indicate what costume Giuliani wore or what song he sang.
This would not be the first time that a controversial figure appeared on The Masked Singer. Years ago, former politician Sarah Palin competed on the show. However, it doesn’t appear that any judges walked off the set in protest.
