Yeezy Season continues with Mr. Kanye West. Fresh off an album in ‘The Life of Pablo‘ and the first couple of shows for his Saint Pablo Tour, which just saw back to back appearance at Madison Square Garden, there is now the completion of his Yeezy Season 4 fashion show. Not to mention his upcoming new wave of sneakers, adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is set to debut this September.
Aside from this it was recently reported that Ye and adidas inked a brand new deal which put him under full control of his adidas Yeezy line but now allows him to further expand his brand by opening up his very own physical adidas Yeezy Stores.
Well in a recent interview with Vogue leading up to the Yeezy Season 4 show, Kanye West opened up about his plans for the store. With plans of the first store to open up in California considering that is where he resides, he plans to reach 200 stores within the next year.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview;
“I believe the first one will be in California, since that’s where I stay now,” he said. “I can go by there most often, check in, get the vibe. But I want to do 200 stores in the next year. That’s just me saying what I want. I’m not saying what can definitely happen but you might as well just state out loud what you want. That’ll put you one step closer to getting it.”
This is going to be great considering Ye wants to continue to make his shoes as obtainable as possible for fans but as we all know being a sneakerhead is rough when the demand is high. So in retrospect no matter how many pairs he makes available, the demand will only get higher. Hopefully though, there is some solution found. As for the Yeezy Store, are they hiring?
