Julia Roberts stars in the upcoming psychological thriller series based on the podcast of the same name. The show centers around Heidi (Julia Roberts) who is a worker at Homecoming, a facility that helps to transition soldiers establish civilian life.
The show takes place years later, as Heidi starts a new life as a local waitress. When the Department of Defence starts to question her departure from Homecoming, she realizes there’s more to it then what she’s been telling herself.
The trailer in examination seems to be an eerie yet chilling one that makes you feel something is wrong. The soundtrack definitely sets the vibe while the distant-acting from Julia makes it seem like there is definitely more to Homecoming then what is told.
The trailer does well in setting the tone for the show and right away captures your attention without giving much on the story. Homecoming is set to premiere on Friday, November 2nd on Amazon Prime Video. The show will encompass 11 episodes 30 minutes in length each and is set to be another addition in Amazons growing list of original series. Amazon seems to be headed in the right direction with its video service, adding a show with Julia Roberts to star is definitely a big win and something to look forward to.
