It’s safe to say that Jersey’s own, Coi Leray, is making her way up the ladder. After dropping her hit single, “Huddy”, Coi Leray started gaining buzz thanks to the catchy hook and unique video. Not to mention, she’s started to gain some attention from one of the world’s biggest artists. As the Jersey native continues to heat up, she continues to drop hit records. Tonight, the rising rapper dropped a new video for her record, “Gold Rush”.
Directed by rising director, @SkinnyEatinn, the video finds Leray in an abandoned warehouse with her crew going hard as usual. On the record, Coi is rapping like her usual self. On the track, Coi Leray raps, “Do you see my pockets? Everything in it. I will never fold. I won’t drop it. Everything I wear they go and cop it.” Later in the song, Coi raps, “I pull up with my silky on. He thinks he’s the only man with a milky on.” Clocking in at just two minutes, the record is fairly short, but it goes just as hard as her previous records.
Coi Leray is building momentum and she doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Watch the entire video above and let us know what you think. Also, stay tuned for Coi Leray’s upcoming project, EC 2.
