NBA Picks 4/8/22
It was a 1-2 night thanks to a disastrous collapse by the Philadelphia 76ers. They came out the gates with a 15-2 lead and it all went downhill from there. We have serious questions about them as a potential title contender and James Harden in particular. His explosiveness is gone, at least for the moment, and he looks like a shell of himself. Predictably, the Los Angeles Lakers failed to put up much of a fight and we underestimated how little the Portland Trail Blazers care about winning. That being said, it’s Friday and we have a chance to finish the week on a strong note. We are six games under .500 so we will be picking six games in order to close the season out strong with the NBA Picks 4/8/22.
Charlotte Hornets at Chicago Bulls (-2.5) 7:10 p.m EST
Stick a fork in the Chicago Bulls, they’re done.
Pick: Charlotte Hornets +2.5 (-110 via DraftKings)
Portland Trail Blazers at Dallas Mavericks (-19.5) 8:40 p.m EST
We learned our lesson last night with the Portland Trail Blazers. They are serious about their tanking efforts.
Pick: Dallas Mavericks -19.5 (-110 via DraftKings)
Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers (-5.5) 7:40 p.m EST
Tonight we find out what happens when an unstoppable train (Oklahoma City Thunder tanking) meets an unmovable object (Los Angeles Laker’s incompetence).
Pick: Los Angeles Lakers -5.5 (-110 via DraftKings)
Cleveland Cavaliers +8.5
New York Knicks -3.5
Milwaukee Bucks -5
