All good things must come to an end!
After seven years with Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Dulcé Sloan has left to begin the next chapter of her career. According to an exclusive report from Matt Grobar of Deadline, Sloan’s contract is up and the multi-talented entertainer recently left New York to concentrate on stand-up comedy and acting in Los Angeles, California.
“There is work that I’ve done over the past seven years with The Daily Show that I couldn’t be prouder of,” Sloan told Deadline.
“I collaborated with some incredibly talented people who I look forward to continuing to work with. I know our paths will continue to cross. I am now free to pursue my dream job of being a live action Klingon on Star Trek.”
Sloan hasn’t exactly been cast as Klingon in a live action production of Star Trek just yet, but she is free to continue her work with FOX’s The Great North and begin her next comedy tour. She also published a book entitled Hello, Friends: Stories of Dating, Destiny & Day Jobs.
