For nearly a decade, Hit-Boy has been one of the most sought after producers in music, but he has truly picked up things within the last two years. He has put together multiple Nas projects, a Big Sean album and a joint project with Pacman Da Gunman. Now, he’s turning his attention toward one of the most talented artists in the city of Chicago, Dreezy.
Dreezy and Hit-Boy have teamed up for a new track called “They Not Ready.” Bass-heavy production provided by the legendary producer provides a perfect playground for the Chicago native to toy around with different flows as she flaunts her success.
“I’ve got so many presidents. I could make Joe Biden resign. God took his time when he made me. I’m a custom design,” she raps.
“[I’m in the] female rap top five and I’m not five. Rappers ain’t showing no numbers like a blocked line. Treat the rap game like it’s my n*gga. That means I’m on top of mine.”
“They Not Ready” is Dreezy’s second release in the last two weeks. Could it be a sign that a new album is on the way? Just wait and see.
