As teams keep trying to get under the cap before the start of free agency, the Dallas Cowboys make the latest move trading former Pro-Bowler receiver Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns as Josina Anderson from CBS Sports HQ first reported. Dallas is also sending a sixth-round pick and they will receive a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick, according to Adam Schefter from ESPN.
I'm told the #Cowboys are currently working on trading WR Amari Cooper to the #Browns, per league sources. Unofficial at this time.

Trade is now officially agreed to, per source: Browns get WR Amari Cooper and a 6th, Cowboys get a 5th and 6th.

The Browns will receive a receiver with experience and several Pro-Bowl selections for the next three years and the Cowboys will save around $16 million for their 2022 salary cap, which was the reason they were looking to move Cooper.
The fourth overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft was traded mid-season by the Raiders in his fourth year in the league. In three and a half seasons in Dallas, Cooper recorded 3893 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns.
