Amari Cooper is heading away from the downward spiraling Oakland Raiders and now he finds himself with another underperforming team in the Dallas Cowboys. The Pro Bowl wideout will be sent to Dallas in exchange for a first round pick.
Former NFL CB Jerraud Powers first leaked the news which was later confirmed by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network

The #Cowboys are trading for #Raiders WR Amari Cooper, source confirms (as @JPowers25 said).

Cooper will join a Cowboys receiving corps with some trio that has some potential. They’re headlined by slot stud Cole Beasley, wideout Allen Hurns and rookie Michael Gallup. Cooper will presumably take over the WR1 role as soon as he suits up for the Cowboys. They’re been in search of a big play threat at the receiver position after the release of Dez Bryant and retirement of Jason Witten.
Cooper was the fourth overall pick in the 2015 draft and paired realtively well early on with quarterback Derek Carr. His career began with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and two trips to the the Pro Bowl, but his numbers have fallen the past two years. This season he has 22 catches for 280 yards and a touchdown in six games this year. He currently is in the NFL concussion protocol affer suffering the injury against the Seattle Seahawks in London.
