Director David Ayers has added another notable name to the cast of his upcoming DC Comics film Suicide Squad. Rapper/actor Common has been officially added to the lineup already featuring Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Cara Delevigne as Enchantress, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. It is rumored that he will portray John Stewart aka Green Lantern as he was supposed to play him in the previously canned Justice League film.
