Chrissy Teigen has reportedly parted ways with the upcoming comedy at Netflix, Never Have I Ever. Teigen has originally been scheduled to do voice-over work during the second season of the Mindy Kailing led series.
Teigen’s departure comes shortly after her public debacle involving reality television personality Courtney Stodden. At 16 years old, Stodden made headlines when she married 60-year-old actor Dough Hutchinson. During a recent interview, Stodden revealed that Teigen sent them a cruel message when news of the marriage went public.
“I can’t wait for you to die,” Teigen allegedly wrote.
Teigen took to Twitter to publicly apologize to Stodden and take accountability for her action.
“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to e held accountable for all their past bulls— in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll,” Teigen wrote.
Teigen has not posted any message to her Twitter or Instagram accounts since she publicly apologized to Stodden.
Netflix and Kailing are expected to find a replacement for Teigen moving forward.
