The New York Knicks will be without forward Cam Reddish for the rest of the season after he suffered a right shoulder injury. Recovery time for the injury is around six weeks and is not expected to impact the forward after the season and during the summer. The Knicks acquired Reddish near the 2022 NBA Trade Deadline from the Atlanta Hawks. He played limited minutes in 15 games for the New York Knicks before the injury occurred.
New York Knicks forward Cam Reddish will miss the rest of the season with a right shoulder separation, sources tell ESPN. Reddish’s recovery timeline is expected to be in the six-week range, so he’ll be clear for a full summer of work ahead of the 2022-2023 season.

In 15 games this season with the New York Knicks, Cam Reddish only averaged 14.4 minutes per game. While on the court he averaged 6.1 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.8 steals per game. This is a setback for a young player still trying to carve out a consistent role in the NBA, but a better change of scenery may be the best move for him. For whatever reason, the Knicks seemed to have little interest in playing their newly acquired forward this season.

The New York Knicks are currently the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with an overall record of 28-38. They are in serious jeopardy of missing even the play-in game at this rate. The team is currently three and a half games outside of the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference. We here at Def Pen Sports wish Cam Reddish the best in his recovery and return to the court this offseason and next season.
