2018 has been a great year for Hip-Hop. We’re just entering into Fall and we’ve already received albums from legends like Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye West, J. Cole and Drake. With all of the great music and moments that have taken place this year, it’s easy to lose track of some of the less commercial acts that have put out great music. In the background of the blogs and streaming sites, fans can find great projects from Nick Grant, Denzel Curry and Stalley just to name a few. Among those less commercial artists to put out a great project is the Prince of Portland, Aminé.
In August, the Portland native surprised all of his fans with a surprise album called One Point Five. Acting as the follow up to his debut studio album, Good For You, One Point Five comes complete with thirteen tracks and features from G Herbo, Rico Nasty and Gunna. Upon first listen, it’s easy to fall in love with tracks like “Sugar Parents”, “Dr. Whoever”, “Shine” and “Together”. Among the many songs on the project that have high replay value, “Reel It In” sits atop the list. While the song barely hits two minutes, it’s a track that has a lot of potential as a single that you’ll hear all fall and winter. This week, Aminé revealed the visuals he has put together for the project’s lead single. Check out the full video above and be sure to check out the entire project.
