2018 has been a wild year for Philadelphia legend, Meek Mill. At the top of 2018, Meek Mill was embroiled in a longstanding legal battle with local officials and law enforcement. After spending a significant amount of time behind bars for a probation violation, the Philadelphia native was able to gain his freedom and leave jail in a private jet. Since then, Meek Mill has made the rounds on a number of national outlets in an effort to speak on behalf of wrongfully incarcerated people of color. In addition, he’s made strides on the music end of things.
Over the past few months, Meek Mill has performed at the 2018 Bet Awards, Summer Jam and Made In America. Not to mention, he put out a four track project called Legends of the Summer. While short, the four track project packed a punch with features from Swizz Beats, Miguel, P.N.B Rock and Jeremih. Earlier this week, the Prince of M.M.G took the stage at Jimmy Fallon to perform his latest single, “Dangerous”. Shortly after taking the stage, Meek Mill took to Instagram to reveal the first details from his new albums. In a short Instagram caption, Meek Mill told fans that any purchase from now on will include a copy of his new album.
While Meek Mill’s latest Instagram caption all but confirms his new album is on the way, fans are still without a track list, album title or album cover. Stay tuned for new details about the project as they emerge.
