Fresh off of delivering a joint album with Smoke DZA, Girl Talk and Big K.R.I.T, Wiz Khalifa has returned with an album of his own. Entitled Multiverse, the 17-track project features THEY. and Girl Talk along with singles like “Bad A** B*tches” and “Big Daddy Wiz.”
“I feel like nowadays music is kind of put into a box and I wanted to break out of that box and have a real musical experience and diversify how people hear music these days,” Wiz Khalifa told Consequence of Sound he hopes to accomplish with his latest body of work.
“Through technology and just the way music is really quick, people are throwing it all together and you really don’t get to experience the bits and pieces that make it what it is. So this kind of breaks it backs down and highlights different sides of musical inspiration.”
Wiz Khalifa is not stopping here. On July 27, he kicked off a 28-city tour with Logic. Together, they’ll make stops in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Nashville, St. Louis, Houston and several other cities. To get ready for the live show, check out Wiz Khalifa’s latest LP below.
