Metropolitans 92 Forward Victor Wembanyama has won MVP in the French League All-Star Game. He is the youngest player ever to win the honor to date at 18 years old. The annual contest features the French players against the non-french players in the French LNB. Wembanyama recorded 27 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists in the game on Thursday night. His team went on to win the game by a score of 136-128. The star prospect has gained national and international fame with his jaw-dropping frame and equally jaw-dropping performances this basketball season. He has become a must-see prospect in France.

Victor Wembanyama is currently projected to be the number one overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. It is unclear if the second projected pick Scoot Henderson can catch up to him despite a stellar season in the G League Ignite program. Wembanyama is at least 7’3″ with others with sounding measurables. His skill set is not that of a typical player of his height with him looking more like a flashy guard despite his size. The French prospect is likely not done winning awards in France and soon he may be winning some hardware in the NBA.
