Steph Curry and his team, the defending champs; Golden State Warriors, made history and Chef Curry did so wearing the Under Armour Curry 2.5. While sales have spiked for UA due to Steph and his signature shoe since the dawning of the Curry 1, with making history in the 2.5 we can expect the same results. So in impeccable timing the folks at UA unveiled the next installment for Steph’s playoff run, the Under Armour Curry 2.5 folks.
Essentially the UA Curry 2.5 is an upgrade from the 2 as there are a significant amount of difference in the two models. The lacing system has been changed, there’s a molded synthetic upper with mesh that provides necessary breathability. Next the inspiration for the design comes from ancient warrior’s spear heads and the California Bay Bridge, of course.
With the official pictures from UA it’s apparent the GSW colorway and the “Batman”-esque colorway will be releasing first. That date has been set for May 28th at Foot Locker website and Under Armour website. On July 1st we will see a more wide range release.
