Tyra Banks is reportedly walking away from her hosting gig with Dancing With The Stars after three seasons. While speaking to TMZ, Banks said that she wants to “graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor” as she explores new business opportunities.
“I feel it’s time for me to really focus on my business and entrepreneurship, but also producing more TV behind the scenes. So, you know what? I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor,” she told TMZ.
Behind the scenes, Banks has worked as a producer for several television series, including Dancing With The Stars, America’s Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show. She has also completed a non-degree program at Harvard Business School and severed as a guest lecturer at Stanford University. Venturing further into the world of business, Banks also launched her own ice cream brand called SMiZE in 2021.
“Bite after bite, taste test after taste test, the nationwide launch of SMiZE Cream is by far my most delicious, chunk-a-licious accomplishment,” Banks said about her new ice cream brand.
“Ever since I was a little girl, my mama and I have been obsessed with the creamy, crunchy, ooey-gooey comfort and delight of ice cream. Everybody has their own unique stories and moments with ice cream at the center of them—hot summer days, celebrations, even broken hearts—but ice cream always made it better.”
