Halftime performances aren’t reserved for the Super Bowl or the National Football League (NFL). Just ask Travis Scott!
On Monday, January 20, 2025, Travis Scott made his way down to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia in support of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. However, he wasn’t there just to cheer on head coach Marcus Freeman and quarterback Riley Leonard. At halftime, the Houston area native delivered a performance of a new, yet-to-be released track called “4×4.” It is unclear whether or not the track will lead to a new album, but the chart-topping musician did let fans know they can hear the studio version via streaming services on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Travis Scott is not only releasing new music, but he’s also offering a new line of merchandise. The Utopia rapper and producer debuted a new t-shirt and sweatshirt with the acronym, “LAFD,” written across the front. Proceeds for both the t-shirt and sweatshirt will directly benefit the Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund. Wildfires raging throughout Los Angeles County in January and the surrounding areas have claimed more than two dozen lives, destroyed more than 10,000 homes and left thousands displaced.
