To start the Saturday All-Star festivities, Team Cavs integrated by Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Darius Garland won the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.
In this year’s new format, the team started winning the shooting contest with a total of 47 points and a Darius Garland that was on fire from beyond the arc. In the Passing contest, they were the last ones with 70 points, the winners were the Antetokounmpo brothers.

For the last part of the qualifiers, the team relay that was worth 200 points, they fell short for a few seconds and couldn’t beat the rookie team. To define who advanced to the final, they had to beat the Greek brothers in a three-point knockout and Garland took care of it.

In the final, the team that made a halfcourt shot in less time wins it. The rookies started firing and in just nine seconds Cade Cunnigham banked the shot in and it appeared they lock the win but the Cavs team had something to say. The rookie Evan Mobley made it in his first shot for the trophy to stay in Cleveland.
