Since he was called to participate in the challenge, Towns has his eyes set on proving he is one of the best big-man shooters in the league and he prove it tonight.
“Since day one, I said it everywhere. The only way I’m going to lose was someone outshooting me, I ain’t going to beat myself out there. I always said I’m up there with the best shooting big men of all time and I needed this trophy to prove it”, said Towns.
Towns is now the first center to win the contest and joins big-men winners like Peja Stojakovic, Kevin Love, and Dirk Nowitzki.
