Taylor Swift has reportedly made a significant contribution of 125,000 meals to Feeding Tampa Bay. The charitable organization shared the news via Instagram earlier this week.
“Thank you [Taylor Swift] for being a hero and supporting Feeding Tampa Bay’s mission to end hunger by 2025! Your generosity will place over 125,000 meals on tables,” the Instagram caption reads.
Feeding Tampa Bay is a branch of Feeding America. The local organization “focuses on providing food to about 1 million food insecure families in the 10-county area of West Central Florida.”
News of Swift’s donation emerges as her latest world tour arrives in Tampa, Florida. The global star is set to deliver three live performances in the city from April 13 through April 15 at Raymond James Stadium. From there, she is set to deliver live shows in Houston and Atlanta to close out the month.
