Fans believe that J. Cole may have a new project on the way because he recently cleared out his Instagram page. Previously, the North Carolina native cleared out his Instagram page before dropping the “Middle Child” video. Shortly thereafter, Revenge of the Dreamers III arrived on streaming services.

J. Cole has not personally given the indication that new music is in the near future, but it would not be out of the question. The Grammy Award-winning artist previously told fans that he’d like to release two new projects, It’s A Boy and The Fall Off, before calling it quits. More recently, it was revealed that the North Carolina native’s record imprint, Dreamville, would craft the soundtrack for the upcoming film, Creed III.
“I’m probably gonna get in trouble,” Creed III star Michael B. Jordan said during Complex Con.
“Dreamville is executive producing this album.”
The first Creed III trailer arrived late last year and the film is set to hit theaters in just two months. Therefore, it would not be out of the question for J. Cole to begin prepping for the soundtrack’s release. Previously, J. Cole and Ari Lennox teamed up to develop “Shea Butter Baby” for the Creed II soundtrack. While we wait to see what the best-selling artist does next, check out the “Shea Butter Baby” teaser from Creed II below to get an idea of what could possibly be on the horizon.
