IO Interactive and Square Enix reveal the details for the upcoming release of Hitman and it isn’t the most conventional way of releasing a game. As the two companies just announced, Hitman will be delayed from its December release to March 2016, March 11th to be exact. Now with this March 11th release comes the first ‘batch’ of content to be released. On release day there will be six campaign missions across Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh.
After the March 11th release date, there will be another batch of content released. This batch will be full of live and timed events. Going into April, May and June, there will be more content released for players.
All of this will be available for the standard retailed price of $65. If you are new to the Hitman series, there will be an ‘Intro To Hitman’ packaging that will cost you $35 and you’ll only have access to the March content.
