Christmas has arrived early for avid fans of Paramount+’s Halo: The Series. Season two of the video game turned-drama series will begin on February 8, 2024 on Paramount+. To get fans going, Paramount+ has delivered the first trailer for the drama’s return in February.
“Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. As humanity’s best hope for winning the war, John-117 discovers his deep connection to a mysterious alien structure that holds the key to humankind’s salvation, or its destruction — the Halo,” the synopsis for the show’s second season reads.
Leading the way, Pablo Schreiber is reportedly set to return in the leading role — Master Chief John-117. Joining Schreiber, Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Bentley Kalu and Kat Kennedy are expected to return. Not to be forgotten, Joseph Morgan and Cristina Rodlo are expected to join the cast of returning actors. Morgan will reportedly play the role of a “formidable intelligence operative” named James Ackerson. Meanwhile, Rodlo is expected to play the role of a linguistic specialist named Talia Perez.
