Just a few short days ago, Square Enix announced that they would be cancelling Ps4 orders of the upcoming Hitman. Square Enix has attributed the cancellation to a “new configuration” of the game and today we now know what the change to the game is.
Square Enix will be releasing Hitman in full episodes with the first being “Intro Pack”. The pack will feature a prologue and the Paris Locale location launching March 11th. The pack will cost gamers $15 and will then be followed up with the Italy location in April for $10. Players will be given the opportunity to digitally purchase the game in full for $60, but if you planned on sticking to the physical disc, you’ll have to wait until Square Enix decides to release it later in the year.
Ps4 players will receive exclusive content: The Sarajevo Six, and a special set of contracts for Agent 47 to track throughout each locale. There will be a beta for Hitman launching for Ps4 on February 11th and February 19th for PC.
