Showtime has unveiled the return date for season five of their legal drama, Billions. The show is expected to return with five new episodes beginning September 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
“Bobby Axelrod reaches a major milestone. Chuck struggles to get his bearings, and he and Wendy navigate a new normal. Tensions are high at Axe Cap now that Taylor Mason is back. Axe faces off against new rival Mike Prince,” Showtime writes about season five of the drama.
As usual, Billions stars Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis will lead the series. Meanwhile, Corey Stoll steps into a key role as Mike Prince. Also, Maggie Stiff, Asia Kate Dillon, David Costabile, Condola Rashad, Kelly AuCoin and Jeffrey DeMunn will appear in the series. Behind the scenes, Brian Koppelman and David Levien will serve as executive producers while Andrew Ross Sorkin steers the ship.
