May will be a huge month for Netflix. The streaming service has already started the month with the release of Christina Applegate’s Dead To Me and the renewal of CW favorite All American. Later this month, Netflix will also release Ava DuVernay’s highly anticipated limited series, When They See Us. However, Netflix has its sights set on another major series in the meantime. Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It will return for a new season this month and Netflix has just released the official trailer for the show’s sophomore season.
Nola Darling is back and better than ever. Well, she’s sort of better than ever. She’s definitely back and trying to make sense of her professional and personal lives. As described “Summer in Brooklyn just got a whole lot hotter. Nola Darling, our favorite Fort Greene artist is back and coming for it all in season two.” In the trailer, we see the return of Opal, Greer, Mars and the whole crew. We also get a glimpse into Nola’s desire to expand her career beyond the canvas. Overall, it looks like Ms. Darling has a lot to manage and things are going to become more complicated.
Watch the trailer above and be prepared for a full review following the show’s Memorial Day weekend release.
