Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, or Coronavirus according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Gobert is the first player to have tested positive or be tested at all for the worldwide virus.
The NBA has suspended its season.

The Jazz were scheduled to play the Oklahoma City Thunder before the game was abruptly postponed right before tipoff. Fans were alerted via the PA announcer of the sudden change.

As a result of Rudy Gobert reportedly testing positive, the NBA has decided to suspend the season indefinitely. The NBA had been tinkering with the idea of letting teams play without fans in attendance. Ultimately, the NBA will suspend operations instead.
