The decision to suspend the rest of the season follows a call amongst the NBA’s Board of Governors earlier today in which the idea was floated as well as the idea of playing the upcoming NBA games without fans in attendance. The final determining factor for the decision came when Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus after feeling ill prior to the Jazz’s matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
