Rick Ross is not simply showcasing his Georgia mansion in Coming 2 America. He’s also giving back to the community where he lives. The Grammy-nominated artist has partnered with JetDoc founder Tommy Duncan to provide $1 million in free doctor visits to Georgia residents. This initiative is the first act of their larger “Give the Gift of Health” campaign that is aimed at helping marginalized communities access proper healthcare.
“Today brings an important milestone for Jetdoc and more importantly Georgians,” Duncan stated.
“We truly believe healthcare is a lifestyle, so we spent the past year breaking down every possible barrier to provide our users immediate access to a diverse network of doctors, dentists, ob-gyns, and more. With a free doctor visit – we hope our mission to Give the Gift of Health will be contagious, so we look forward to serving our communities across the state.”
Rick Ross invested in JetDoc back in November. Working with Tommy Duncan, the Florida native will act as a stakeholder and spokesman for the telehealth platform. Ross believes that platforms like JetDoc will also go a long way in helping entrepreneurs who may not have time to physically go see a doctor as often as they should.
“As an active artist and businessman, I often don’t have time to see a doctor. I’d make excuses and prioritize my healthcare second to my hustle,” Ross said.
