Rick and Morty is finally returning to our lives in less than a month. And after a few teases earlier this year, including a wonderful Taika Waititi-filled clip from San Diego Comic-Con, Adult Swim finally dropped a full trailer for the upcoming season. Well, half of it at least.
In the trailer, Rick and Morty are back to doing Rick and Morty things. Morty gets deathly ill, falls off a sheer cliff, and for some reason wears a Nazi officer uniform. All the while Rick just kind of floats (at one point literally) through their adventures. There’s also a duel between Summer and Beth at an airport that seems like it’s definitely gonna poke fun at the Captain America: Civil War airport battle.
One big thing revealed in the trailer is that we’ll only be getting five episodes when the season kicks off next month. That’ll be just enough to take us right up to Christmas and, barring a Christmas special, we’ll likely get the second half of season 4 early next year.
But, enough of me describing it, check out the trailer for yourself below:
The first half of Rick and Morty season 4 premieres November 10th on Adult Swim.
