Rick and Morty fans rejoice! Just a day after dropping a trailer for their new series Primal, Adult Swim dropped a teaser revealing the return of their hit sci-fi show. It’s not a particularly interesting or revealing trailer when it comes to plot, but, it does announce that the show is set to return in November of this year.
The show has become somewhat known for its ridiculously long breaks between seasons. The third season seemed like it wasn’t even going to happen for some time due to two years of silence on the part of creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Luckily, fans have known that the fourth season was coming since Adult Swim picked the series up for a whopping 70 episodes last year.
There’s no way to even begin speculating on the new season’s plot but hopefully, we’ll get more answers about the mysterious ‘Evil Morty’ who’s made appearances over the last few years. But, knowing the nature of Harmon, Roiland, and the show itself, we could also never hear from the evil lil’ freak again. Only time will tell.
Rick and Morty season 4 hits Adult Swim this November.
