He’s back! After missing much of the show’s eleventh season to undergo surgery on his back and shoulders, Richard Lewis has returned to the set of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
“I’m back shooting Curb!” Lewis tweeted.
“I’m a lucky cat to be with my oldest pal who just so happens to be a genius. Don’t tell him I called him that or he’ll mock me to my grave.”
Led by Larry David, Curb Your Enthusiasm has delivered twelve seasons since its launch in 2001. With David, Lewis, J.B. Smoove, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Vince Vaughn and Cheryl Hines set to return, HBO has been renewed for a twelfth season at HBO.
“Larry outdoes himself season after season and always manages to come back when the audience needs him most,” Amy Gravitt of HBO said.
“We’re thrilled for him, Jeff Schaffer, and our phenomenal cast to continue making us laugh and cringe in equal measure.”
HBO has not yet set a release date for the upcoming season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
