
Netflix has unveiled the first set of teasers for its upcoming adaptation of the classic video game, Resident Evil.
In the short clip, the streaming giant shares a few key details about the upcoming project. Most notably, the show will be split into two timelines. The first segment will follow the Wesker family in 2022 as they travel into a new city, seeking new opportunities. Meanwhile, the second segment will follow Jade Wesker in a post apocalyptic world in London.
Staying true to the original story, the trailer is also complete with a montage of fight scenes, zombies and much more. Along the way, fans get their first look at a cast that includes Paola Nuñez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti and Turlough Convery.
Details regarding the plot still remain under wraps, but this trailer definitely builds some intrigue as the official release date nears. Check out the trailer below before Resident Evil drops on July 14, 2022.
