Just hours after releasing his fourth studio album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Kendrick Lamar has announced that he will head out on a 65-date world tour this summer. The pgLang chief will begin his trek around the globe with a show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 19, 2022. In the following weeks, the Compton native will take the stage in Brooklyn, Chicago, Oakland, Los Angeles and several other major cities. Beginning in October, he will embark on an international run that will see him perform in Paris, London, Sydney and many of the world’s most iconic cities. Not to mention, he will take the stage in Miami during Rolling Loud, which will also include performances from Kanye West and Future.
Kendrick Lamar will be joined by pgLang artists Tana Leone and Baby Keem. Less than a year removed from the release of his debut album, The Melodic Blue, Baby Keem recently won his first Grammy Award. The Carson, California native topped J. Cole, Cardi B, Drake and Megan Thee Stallion in the “Best Rap Performance” category. Also, he appeared on Kanye West’s Donda and the aforementioned project, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
Tanna Leone is the newest addition to the pgLang family. The LA-based artist dropped his first EP with the creative agency in late April. Consisting of tracks that he’s worked on over the last few years, he told Complex that his project, Sleepy Soldiers, is “a great balance of melody and lyrics.” Now, he’ll be able to bring his work to the world on this upcoming tour.
Tickets for the world tour will go on sale on May 20, 2022. Check out the full list of shows below.
