pgLang recently celebrated Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy victory in Las Vegas, but they’re already back and working. Kendrick Lamar recently announced the release of his final album with Top Dawg Entertainment and Baby Keem completed two performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Now, the creative agency will turn its attention to the release of Tanna Leone’s new project, Sleepy Soldier.
Tanna Leone is gearing up to release his first project with pgLang on April 28, 2022. In preparation for the big day, Leone has unveiled the track list for the LP. Devoid of features, the project will include 14 tracks, including the lead single, “Picasso.” According to the rising artist, the project “represents a person at war with themself and the world. Even when they’re tired, they have to keep going because they know their purpose is bigger in the battle.”
“I rerecorded this project over the last year and it touches on everything from mistakes, love, wins, highs and lows in different forms,” Tanna Leone said about Sleepy Soldier.
“Everything I’m talking about is a reflection of recent life moments and a small amount of past experiences but I’m ultimately expressing my human experience. When it’s all said and done, we experience the same emotions, and similar experiences that make us one, and that’s the mold I wanted to create on this project. This is human music.”
