Latest update from USA Today’s Sam Amico:
Cavs have stated their interest in Ray Allen and he knows where they stand. But he has not yet signed with anybody and could still retire.

Allen, 39, was reportedly deciding on whether or not to retire from the NBA. He said that if he did play he would want to stick with LeBron James and migrate to Cleveland, but the future Hall of Famer was also contacted by other teams such as the Clippers, Spurs, Wizards, Bulls, and others.
The Cavaliers quickly signed shooters Mike Miller and James Jones not long after LeBron returned. Flanking LeBron with shooters has become a necessary strategy when he’s on the floor to induce spacing and open up driving lanes.
But, per Sam Amico, it appears Allen has yet to make his final decision.
